NCJW activists across the country joined in the Women’s March to loudly proclaim: “Women’s rights are human rights!”
“Justice, Justice Shall You Pursue” (Deuteronomy 16:18). This clarion call to action has resonated with the Jewish people for centuries and is the guiding imperative of the National Council of Jewish Women.

Issues We Focus On
You can make a difference in so many ways by taking action with NCJW Utah, whether it’s volunteering at a local community service program or taking progressive action online or over the phone.
We also take positions on several other issues of importance to women, children and families. Visit NCJW.ORG for more information. NCJW’s advocacy positions are based on NCJW’s resolutions, including principles, which are revised and approved by the voting delegates to the national convention every three years. The resolutions authorize action and provide direction for participation in local, state and national affairs. As legislation arises which often requires immediate action, we use “calls to action” to alert our members to email and make phone calls to the appropriate officials. Visit our Take Action page for actions you can take online and by phone call local to Utah and Nationally.
